Surf Therapy

Surfing makes you happy, but it's also therapeutic. With Surf Therapy, we offer ocean programs for boys and girls with autism, combining movement, nature, and inclusion in an experience of growth and well-being.

What is Surf Therapy ?

Surf Therapy is an innovative approach that uses surfing as an educational, motor, and relational tool.

Through contact with the sea, movement, and collaboration with qualified instructors and therapists , boys and girls learn to manage their emotions, develop self-confidence, and improve balance, coordination, and relational skills.

It is an activity that combines sport, well-being, and inclusion , where every experience in the water becomes an opportunity to grow and discover new personal resources.

How it works

Each Surf Therapy session is designed to provide a safe, structured, and personalized experience.

The path includes three main moments:

1. Theoretical part on land , dedicated to understanding the marine environment, safety rules and the correct approach to surfing.

2. Dry exercises , to work on balance, coordination and physical preparation in a fun way and adapted to the abilities of each participant.

3. Session in the water , where each boy or girl is accompanied by a dedicated instructor , with the support of volunteers on the shore who assist during the line-up and ensure the safety of the group.

Activities are carried out in small groups, to encourage individual attention and the creation of an atmosphere of trust and fun.
